Description
Hyperimmune plasma
anti-Rhodococcus equi
Composition
Equine hyperimmune plasma anti-R.
equi, sterile, freezed at – 20 ºC, titrated by indirect
ELISA and free of E.I.A., Piroplasmosis, Dourine,
Glanders, Brucelosis and Salmonellosis. Contains between
1 and 2,2 grs % of
gammaglobulin,
and between 6,5 and 8,5 grs %
of total proteins.
Indications
Prevention of the pneumonia and
other Rhodococcus equi infections in
foals, and for the treatment of the hypogammaglobulinemia
or the failure of the passive
transfer in the newborn
foal
.

PRESENTATION
Plastic sterile
bags of 0,35 or 1,0 liters, with citrate as anticoagulant and
phosphates as buffer. Presentation in two different ELISA
titers:
Hyperimmune normal: 1/2,560 to
1/5,120 ELISA titer.
Hyperimmune
concentrated:
1/10,240 to 1/40,960 ELISA
titer
.
DOSAGE
Transfuse
between 0,7 to 2,1 liters of plasma, depending the severity of
the clinical
case.
